Dr Tew is a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon and is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr Tew’s practice embraces a philosophy where thorough individual patient assessment, tailored surgical techniques, and surgical experience combine to provide an optimum result for the long term.

Dr Tew's goal is to safely create beautiful, natural-looking results. Patient education is a priority , so surgical procedures are explained in detail. We want to be sure you are fully informed about your choices, and Dr Tew will advise and guide you so you can make the decision that is right for you. Minimally invasive surgery is preferred, resulting in patients returning to their normal lifestyle at the earliest possible time. Thorough aftercare and follow up are a focus of our practice.

Dr Tew's interests are breast augmentation and reduction, facial plastic surgery including eyelid rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, correction of prominent ears, body contouring surgery including abdominoplasty and liposuction. She also has an interest in new technology such as Laserlipolysis for body sculpturing and acquired the first SmartLipo ™ machine in Sydney.

Dr Tew holds appointments as a consultant Plastic surgeon at public and private hospitals in Sydney, and also with the Department of Defence. She trained in Plastic surgery at various teaching hospitals in Sydney including St Vincent's Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. Prior to Plastic surgery training, she was a general surgical trainee and had completed research towards a Master of Surgery.

As surgical techniques continue to evolve, and innovative technology becomes available, Dr Tew updates her knowledge and skills through courses in Australia and overseas. She also participates in teaching and research, and is committed to excellence.
