Providing Chin Implants t in Sydney
A chin implant reshapes the chin by inserting an implant in front, underneath or to the sides of the bone of the chin. Chin implant surgery, also known as chin augmentation, is often done together with nose reshaping surgery or a full face-lift. Chin augmentation can also be combined with laserlipolysis to remove fat deposits from underneath the chin and around the neck.

Chin implants can balance a person's facial profile and correct a ‘weak’ jawline. Chin implants are especially popular with men as they can give a much more masculine appearance.
Insertion of a chin implant usually takes around one hour. During the procedure, Dr Tew inserts the chosen implant (shape and size) into a pocket over the front of the jawbone. The incision made to insert the implant is placed inside the mouth (along the lower lip) or in the skin just under the chin area.
Usually, the chin is taped after surgery to minimise swelling. Sutures in the skin will be removed in seven days. If an intra-oral incision is used, the sutures will dissolve.
If you have been considering chin implant surgery in Sydney, schedule a consultation with Dr Tew. We can then determine together whether you are a good candidate for the surgery and discuss possible outcomes with you.
